• Thirty minutes from Chiang Mai towards the Ping River lies the 18-hole Chiangmai Green Valley Country Club. Players should be prepared to spend some time on this exacting course as water comes into play on almost every hole, most holes are heavily bunkered and the course is one of the longest in the region. By the time you get to the 18th, the resplendent clubhouse that rises up to greet you is a welcome sight due to the length of the fairways and lack of shade. A hotel is also situated nearby.
